M.Sc. (Agric.) Mikko Marttila(37 years) is appointed as Commercial Director of Agritek Oy on 1st March 2021. Marttila will move to the position from Lantmännen Agro Oy. Marttila will be responsible for the agricultural business of SGN Group and will be a member of the SGN Group management group. Marttila reports to the SGN Group CEO Ilkka Brander.
Mikko Marttila has been working in the field of agricultural trade since 2008 and most of the time at Kesko corporation and later at Lantmännen Agro. He has worked as a Product Manager and team leader in agricultural machinery trade and later as a Sales Director and a member of the Kesko agricultural trade management group. In addition to Finland, he has been responsible for business in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Most recently at Lantmännen Agro Mikko has been responsible for aftermarket, store concepts and store selection with his team.
Mikko lives in Helsinki but during weekends he likes to spend time on his farm in Ikaalinen doing forestry, working with tractors and fishing. His hobbies are also jogging and Youth Chamber of Commerce.
